Hi
Yesterday morning we went through the Beagle Channel and then spent the rest of the day in Ushuaia. We had a trip with 5 other cruisers in a minibus up into the surrounding countryside and saw some pretty amazing mountain scenes and lakes. Ushuaia itself is a pretty little place, it does really feel like the end of the world, full of gift shops and tourists.
We have been lucky with the weather today up in the Crows Nest at 7am to see dawn over Cape Horn. No sea sickness at all a fabulous day!

Hi Val and Bill
ReplyDeleteOoooh - just imagine - sunrise over Cape Horn - fabulous!! Really enjoying seeing your photos, the glaciers look such a deep turquiose (my colour!) and I see you have found a big fat belly or two in the boat. Glad you are having such a wonderful time and NO seasickness!
Just come back from first outing in the camper to Ingleton, the camp sites were all full so we had to do a bit of 'wild camping' in the car park of the 3 Horseshoes Pub, It was a folk weekend (of course) but we had a great time and were nice and snug in the van even though it was hailing this morning'
Looking forward to hearing all about going 'Round the Horn' and heading north to warmer weather.
Lots of love

Great photos! Must be a rather steady vessel to see the two of you jumping around the decks. :) Love reading your posts. I guess you are now heading in a northerly direction and up into Argentina?
ReplyDeleteGlad you find the internet cafes to post from. Keep enjoying!
Love, Jim and Pat
